IONA SKY are an Anglo-American pop-rock band based in Cambridgeshire, England.

Formed in 2023, the group consists of lead vocalist Anna-Sophia Henry, vocalist/guitarist/keys James Malone, lead guitarist Simon Jupp, bassist Matt Worthington, and drummer, Scorr ‘the Dark Lord’ Wilson.

Their first official IONA SKY gig was as the opening act for an American Air Force July 4th gig with headliners X Ambassadors.

IONA SKY’s sound blends together the pop and country influences of Anna-Sophia, with the indie-rock influences of James and Simon. The combination produces traditional storytelling with an pop-rock sound based on guitar riffs and dreamy melodies.

In March 2024 they released their debut EP ’Homeschooled’. Their first singles from the EP, ‘Never Be the Same Again’ and ‘Locked the Door’, were both featured on international radio, including BBC Radio One, and made a Spotify editorial playlist. 2024 also saw the band complete a UK, Ireland, and USA tour to promote ‘Homeschooled’, playing across cities including London, Birmingham, Dublin, Philadelphia, and New York City. They also played in several UK festivals over the summer (Equinox, Strawberry Fair, St. Ives Music Festival).

2025 saw the band open for alt-rockers Alien Ant Farm and will see the band release their second EP later in the year, currently being recorded in London.
